We made it to Zagreb, where we had booked the hotel – Esplanade Zagreb ***** – read the review here! Luckily we got there quite early, so we actually had time to discover the city itself.

To our surprise, we got there for the best time ever, there were these different festivals going on, the biggest thing was, that the group 2CELLOS gave their free concert in the main square/place, it was on the 2nd of July 2016! The venue of the concert was just next to our hotel, so later when we were sitting in the hotel terrace, we could hear the concert too. It was beautiful!

I found a video of the concert on Youtube, which is not mine, from there you can see, how the concert looked like. ūüôā

We also had dessert at this restaurant called Botan, since we weren’t hungry and it was dinner time there, this was the only restaurant that let us have only¬†dessert and champagne, without ordering dinner, so it was really nice of them.

Besides, the restaurant was very comfortable too.

So when we walked back to our hotel and to the concert venue, there was this another festival, I don’t know the name. There was this beach vibe and everyone could sit around and listen to the music. It was fun to see.

I must say that Zagreb surprised us a lot, it is a really beautiful city.
