Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel, Warsaw ****

Hotel Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel, Warsaw ****

General

Reception and welcome:    Welcome is as usual, nothing special. Reception is a bit dated but nice.
Welcome drink:    You could take some water at the reception, that was nice.
Free upgrade:    No, I asked, but they said no.
Valet and parking:    No valet, but there was parking, which was not free of charge.
Concierge:    No.

Breakfast

Sparkling wine:    No.
Hot meal:    Yes.
In general:    The usual choices, but quite good food.

The room

In general:   The room was quite good, gave a little bit this dated vibe, was not as nice as the other hotels we have stayed at in Warsaw, but the others were 5 star and this is 4 star hotel, also the other ones we skyscrapers, so we’re used to being in high floors. But the room is clean and can be comfortable.
Room type:    Standard room – https://www.radissonblu.com/en/sobieski-warsaw/rooms
Surprise in the room:    Nope.
iPhone dock:    No.
Blanket and the blanket case:    Yes and yes.
Carped:    Yes, fully carpeted.
Amenities and bathroom:    Good. Bathroom was really nice, clean and light.
Shower curtain?    No, nice walk-in shower.
Are the TV speakers in the bathroom too?    No or didn’t notice.
Bath salt and bath:    No and no.
Slippers and robe:    No and no.
Free WI-FI:    Yes.
Air conditioning:    Yes.

Hotel area (spa, dinner etc)

We arrived really late in the evening and left after breakfast, so we didn’t really see around the hotel. It seemed to be a usual hotel.

Location:                     We were just staying for the night and were by car, so I have no idea whether the location is good or not.

I visited:                      June 2016.

Would I go again?      Probably, when the 5-star hotels are too expensive when I’m in Warsaw.

Value of money:          Very good, this is the reason we chose this hotel.

Purpose of the trip:      Vacation.

Nights:                         1 night.

Rating

Luxury:    6 out of 10.
Drive through:    8 out of 10. Something did not feel that comfortable at the hotel.
