In general: Breakfast was nice, not luxury, but quite nice and good food.
In general: The room was so nice, the windows are big and the design is great. I really liked the room, so beautiful, but not enough attention paid for the details. The room is a bit unclean and sloppy.
Room type: Melia guestroom – https://www.melia.com/en/hotels/austria/vienna/melia-vienna/melia-guestroom.html.
Surprise in the room: No.
iPhone dock: Nope.
Blanket and the blanket case: Yes and yes.
Amenities and bathroom: Yes and bathroom was nice, modern, really big. I didn’t like that the lighting is not good, really dark. But really cool design. Also, the water didn’t go down the drains in the shower, the whole bathroom was full of water, not good!
Shower curtain? No, nice big shower with the window to the room.
Are the TV speakers in the bathroom too? Yes.
Bath salt and bath: No and no.
Slippers and robe: No and no, we had to call the housekeeping and ask for slippers, not good for 5-star hotel!!!
Free WI-FI: Yes.
Air conditioning: Yes.
Afternoon service: No.
Hotel area (spa, dinner etc)
Hotel is really beautiful and modern, I didn’t like the service, a bit snobish. At breakfast it was nice and friendly.
Location: Don’t know, we’re just on a drive through. My sister said that it is too far from the center and she would not come here, when she didn’t have a car and when she would want to enjoy a city vacation.
I visited: June 2017.
Would I go again? So-so, if it was cheaper, then yes.
Value of money: A bit too expensive for the service you receive.
Purpose of the trip: Vacation.
Nights: 1 night.
Luxury: 8 out of 10.
Drive through: 9 out of 10.
